As a regionally established and globally active stakeholder we play our role in protecting the environment within the metropolitan region of Hamburg. The ‘green logistics’ concept plays a key role in our processes, which is underpinned by certifications, multi-modal transport and the use of renewable energy sources. Innovative, continuous development in connection with regular training of staff is not an end in itself for generating a good public image, but is rather a definitive value of our entrepreneurial self image of quality and long-term success. Food safety - certified by IFS Logistics - is an important component of our company policy. We are well aware of the role we play in the food chain as a transport and logistics service provider. It is therefore our responsibility to reduce any possible interference with the quality and safety of food to an absolute minimum, using the organisational and technical possibilities available. The hazards and risks which were determined and assessed in line with HACCP requirements, which can occur during transport, handling or loading, are avoided through the implementation of preventative programmes. We naturally comply with statutory regulations and specialist requirements stipulated by customers concerning food quality and safety. This quality standard expected of our own service not only covers foodstuff but is also a key feature of our day-to-day working practices.
