Qualified for quality
GDP
This certificate attests to the existence of a management system for compliance with the rules of good distribution practice (GDP) with medicinal products. It stands for high-quality processes in the storage and transport of human pharmaceuticals, active ingredients and medical devices. Successful certification means that a company meets the requirements for reducing medication counterfeiting and ensuring the quality of products along the supply chain.
IFS
The certification IFS Logistics stands for certified food safety. It ensures uniform and complete quality assurance of food and product standards.
VdS-10000
Information security management with certificate
The industry-neutral VdS guidelines 10000 are a catalog of measures specially tailored to SMEs for a management system with which the information security status of a company is improved.
AEO
A company having the AEO status is considered especially reliable, trustworthy and can benefit from privileges at customs clearance. Thus, STERAC is an authorized economic operator with customs warehouses “type C” and “type D”. The objective is to safeguard the continuous international supply chain from the producer to the end customer.
Organic certification
There are strict requirements regarding organic products – from production and processing to storage and transport – which are regulated by the European Union and the EU-Eco-regulation. Due to its certification, STERAC may receive organic products from abroad as initial recipient.
SQAS
SQAS represents an instrument for the uniform assessment of quality, safety and environmental protection systems of logistics service providers. The Safety and Quality Assessment System is a standard of the European Chemical Industry Council.
GS 1
With the GS 1 certificate, STERAC proves itself as a licensee of a globally unique Global Location Number (GLN, formerly EAN).
We are therefore entitled to
- use GS1 identification standards (e.g. GTIN)
- apply GS1 data carrier standards (e.g. EAN-13)
- use GS1 communication standards (e.g. EANCOM®)
- optimize our processes through GS1 process standards
NOP
Certification according to USDA NOP (National Organic Program) enables trade and transport according to American BIO standards. The entire food chain of a certified product intended for sale in the USA must be certified according to the NOP regulations. This includes raw material producers, processors and traders. The US market for organic products is growing year by year and has become one of the main target markets for organic products.
